Meet The Hosts

Reggie Bellamy was born and raised in Manatee County. After graduating from Manatee High School, Bellamy proudly served in the U.S. Army and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman University. 

Reggie served as County Commissioner for District 2 from 2018-2022. Since 2015 he has served as the Executive Director of the Palmetto Youth Center.

With over thirty years working in various positions in local

government and serving as County Administrator, Cheri led an organization of over 2,000 employees and a

budget of 1 billion annually. Additionally, she oversaw another billion dollars of capital improvement plan projects. She's now working in the private sector running her own consulting business.

A lifelong resident of the Sarasota-Bradenton area, Misty’s career as an AICP certified Urban Planner has included work in the public and private sectors, providing her with a global view of development challenges and opportunities. She worked for Manatee County for 17 years and King Engineering for 13 years as a planner. She served as a Manatee County Commissioner from 2018-2022. 

She is currently the Vice President of Planning for Z Construction and takes on consulting roles through her small business, “Planner On Call” throughout the State of Florida. Her passion is public service, and she has served for decades with numerous local non-profits. She is a graduate of Florida State University, the mother of three, and resides in Sarasota with her husband, Joaquin.
